1.1 Background of the Study
Agriculture is a cornerstone of Nigeria’s economy, particularly in rural areas like Ningi LGA, Bauchi State. Development journalism, which focuses on addressing societal challenges and empowering communities, can play a crucial role in promoting sustainable agricultural practices. By disseminating information on modern farming techniques, climate-resilient crops, and government policies, development journalism bridges the gap between stakeholders and farmers.
